Pamela Parker has enjoyed a career as a horse trainer and an artist, enjoying both worlds in which her talents lie.

Pamela grew up around horses, and her early sketches as a child reflect her passion for them. She trained racehorses professionally and still found time to paint in a makeshift studio in a tack room in the stables.

Pamela studied privately with several artists, but has largely developed her compassionate, detailed technique on her own. She is as well known for her portraits of animals as she is for her portraits of people.

Her paintings engage the viewer and the viewer's imagination, often resulting in moments of reflection and pleasant memories. An accomplished equestrienne and professional trainer, Pamela has brought her keen eye for nuance and detail to her artistic endeavors.
